Kenndal McArdle (he/him)

Kenndal has extensive investing experience across private and public markets. As a founding member of Pender Ventures, Kenndal is an instrumental member of the team across all aspects of the investment process and portfolio support. His expertise resides in strategy and scaling go to market efforts in hyper growth businesses. Pender Ventures, with over $100M in AUM, invests in Health-IT and B2B Technologies with transformative technology that have the potential to move the world forward. 
Current board roles include Clarius Mobile Health, Checkfront, Swift Medical, Spark RE and DrugBank.  He is also a strategic advisor to numerous start-up companies, providing guidance on capital raising and governance. 
Previous to Pender Ventures, Kenndal was a public market analyst where is work was primarily attributable to the award winning Pender Small Cap Opportunities Fund and Pender Value Fund. He was also a professional athlete and enjoyed a successful career in the NHL, most notably on the left wing for the Jets and Panthers. He earned his CFA Charter in 2018 and is currently a board member with Science World Vancouver (ASTC Science World Society).
