A strategic leader, keen on developing strong team dynamics, Karl is actively involved in the VC innovation ecosystem and is often invited to speak at national and international events. He has a particular interest in advancing diversity and inclusion through his engagement with CVCA and Réseau Capital, where he has worked to develop a set of best
practices for equality, openness, inclusion and mutual respect in the VC
industry.

Karl has had the opportunity to have lived and worked from coast to coast in Canada, from St. John’s to Vancouver. He currently lives in Montreal and has three adult children.

He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA with a major in Finance from Concordia University.
