Holly Knowlman is the Editor and Founder of Stupid Magazine. Stupid is a print-first music media company on a mission to create the ultimate reading experience for today’s unabashed pop fan.
Prior to launching Stupid, Holly led marketing at TWG. She was a Co-Director of Techstars’ Startup Next in Toronto, and a Director of LeanArts. She is an advisor to #Paid and Small Rooms, and curates a weekly newsletter about media business models. Her music industry experience includes work for publicity agencies, artists, promoters, and major music festivals NXNE and WayHome.
Holly likes talking about Kanye-West-As-Contemporary-Art-Hero more than any human being should and her favourite words are ones that have both P’s and B’s in them. She obtained her BA in English Literature & Media Studies from University College Falmouth in 2009.
