Since starting her career as a chartered accountant at KPMG, Emilie Boutros has led finance functions for a number of prominent technology companies: Softimage, CGI, and Averna Technologies, a US$30M business with 300 employees. Emilie joined TandemLaunch in early 2012 as Partner and CFO. TandemLaunch scouts, accelerates, and commercializes early-stage technologies from the world’s top universities in close partnership with major Consumer Electronic brands. During Emilie’s tenure, TandemLaunch has more than doubled every year, raising over $30M in third party investment, creating more than 13 ventures valued at more than $100M today.
