Danielle has recently taken on a Principal role at Dream Maker Ventures, the first Canadian Venture Capital (VC) Fund founded by people of colour and women, focused on investing in diverse, underrepresented, underestimated entrepreneurs.
Previous to DreamMaker, Danielle managed the Market Readiness Fund, Ontario’s most active seed-stage fund, investing in over 40 deals at $125K-250K. She founded the Fierce Founders programs, the first female-focused accelerator and bootcamp series in Canada, which continue to provide seed funding to early stage female-led startups. She has been an active champion for women’s initiatives such as #MovetheDial, the Big Push, and the Dovetail Summit.
